True Shadow Monarch in Anime Vanguards

True Shadow Monarch is the Transcendent Player Quest evolution from Song Jinwu and Igros. Equip it in the first slot to open the seventh unit slot and its separate Monarch System.
How to get True Shadow Monarch
The developer names Player Quest as the acquisition route and Song Jinwu plus Igros as the prerequisite units. The changelog does not give a complete step-by-step quest recipe here; use the current Player Quest menu for its objectives rather than assuming an old preparation event still changes the requirements.
Owning the unit unlocks Shadow Trials through Event Modes. Selecting the Monarch in Pirate Dynasty Arena does not grant ownership: that arena lets everyone play its three fighters without owning them.

System levels and the surviving skill tree
Takedowns earn System EXP and System Gold. Shadow slots unlock at System levels 1, 10, 25, 40, 60 and 80, with level 100 as the cap. Classes each have an eleven-skill tree, progressed one class at a time. Form of the Monarch supports three equipped special attacks out of seven.
This System tree is not the Elemental Towers tree removed in Update 15. The Monarch shares its trait, stats, familiar and memoria with the team; its custom hotbar has the Monarch surrounded by six Shadows. Shadow Trials has its own Hunter progression and should not be confused with System level.
