Anime Vanguards Tier List
Checked 2026-10-14 · Update 15.0
The wiki's published Overall Top 8 is shown below, with its unit-specific build conditions. Its 23 September 2026 revision predates Update 15 on 12 October. This is a wiki-authored snapshot, not a developer ranking or a tested post-update order.
Wiki Overall Top 8: pre-Update 15 snapshot
The wiki ranks this container left to right and may include competitive play. Reading it on 14 October does not make it a post-Update 15 test; its last revision is 23 September. The trait tags below are unit traits, not Memoria traits.
| Wiki rank | Unit | Wiki trait tag | Source condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Apathetic Savior (Door) | Monarch / Marksman | No extra pairing disclaimer on this card |
| 2 | Holy Deceiver (Dark) | Monarch | Other strong Dragon Sphere units |
| 3 | Super Vogito | Monarch | Other strong Dragon Sphere units |
| 4 | Rogita (Super 4) | Monarch | Other strong Dragon Sphere units |
| 5 | Divalo (Requiem) | Marksman / Monarch | No extra pairing disclaimer on this card |
| 6 | The Falcon (of Light) | Monarch | Smith and Struggler |
| 7 | Wrath (Assault) | Monarch | Iscanur |
| 8 | Rebel Fighter (Gauntlet) | Monarch | Wiki marks the unit limited; not current availability proof |
What Update 15 changes
The developer reduced unit damage across the board and reduced enemy health too. Earlier damage screenshots are not directly comparable with the new numbers, and this announcement does not establish a replacement ranking.
Unit Ascension was removed entirely, including bonuses on previously ascended units. Update 15 also adds True Shadow Monarch and new Memoria and Vanguard familiars that this older Top 8 snapshot does not evaluate. Do not interpret their absence as proof they are weaker.
Availability can change independently of strength: the Anniversary banner explicitly returns God, while Rogita (Super 4) and Divalo (Requiem) can no longer be selected on the Special Banner. An older limited or unobtainable icon is not a live acquisition notice.
How we use this list
If a video calls the first names S tier, that is a nickname for this ordered list, not a second ranking. Trait, familiar, and memoria tags on the wiki page are per-unit recommendations. Open the unit pages and the memoria and familiar lists before you reroll.
Source review: 14 October 2026. The live wiki still displays the order from its 23 September revision, maintained by the Anime Vanguards Wiki Team and written by Discord user @ansphoria. No damage, clear-time or team tests were performed here after Update 15.
FAQ
What is the best unit in Anime Vanguards?
Apathetic Savior (Door) is first on the wiki Overall list still displayed on 14 October 2026. That list's 23 September revision predates Update 15; this page does not claim a tested post-update winner.
Is this an Update 15 tested ranking?
No. It is the wiki's pre-Update 15 snapshot, with the new developer balance and acquisition caveats alongside it. Reading the source today does not prove the ranking was retested.
Where is the AV tier list?
AV means Anime Vanguards. This page is the AV tier list.
